Understanding the Reaction Crystallization Process of Glycidyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride

چکیده

Reaction crystallization to produce glycidyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (GTA) via epichlorohydrin with gas-state trimethylamine was investigated. The process of the GTA gas-liquid reaction optimized by a seed method. technology can prepare products crystal form and purity greater than 97%. consists four steps (i.e., addition seed, dispersion growth crystals on surfaces, agglomeration crystal). Seed method flow rate are key factors affecting purity. particle size were satisfactory as long operation kept within defined envelope. experiments conducted 1 L reactor successfully scaled-up 3000 in industry.
